We celebrate forty years of the Expresso Newspaper and Magazine with a selection of talents that you will be hearing from (in the future). Andreia Pinto Correia, Composer, 41 Years Old.

Recently awarded the prestigious Fromm Music Foundation Commission by Harvard University… She was composer-in-residence at the Tanglewood Music Center in 2009 and in 2011 her work Elegia a Al-Mu’tamid opened the Contemporary Music Festival at Carnegie Hall. The Gulbenkian Foundation will present this work in 2012. Andreia, an established composer in the United States, is becoming an important figure in Portugal.
