"Ciprés" to be premiered on April 6-7 at the Ohio Theater, was commissioned by the League of American Orchestras and the Columbus Symphony with the generous support of the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation

Chamber Music Tulsa presents "Night Migrations", a work commissioned by Chamber Music America for the Horszowski Trio (March 9-11, 2018). The new work is inspired by the writings of Louise Glück (New York, 1943), and in particular by the poem “The Night Migrations” from the poet’s Averno series.

String Quartet N. 1, commissioned by the Gulbenkian Foundation for the JACK Quartet, will be premiered at the Gulbenkian Foundation Grand Auditorium, in Lisbon, Portugal, on January 27th, 2018.

"A striking feature of the writing is that the piano is always held in check to allow even the most delicate string sounds to be clearly heard. This might be the first ever-piano trio that accomplishes a balance of piano and strings where each part can be appreciated."

The Horszowski Trio will give the world premiere of "Night Migrations", a Chamber Music America Commission, on November 12th, at the Trianon Theater, San Jose Chamber Music Society.

Mike Roylance, Principal Tuba with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, will give the Japanese premiere of "Stellae errantes" in Tokyo on November 6th, 2017. The work was commissioned by and dedicated to him.

The new work for virtuoso tuba solo will be premiered on June 23rd, 2017, in Lenox. "Stellae errantes" was commissioned by and dedicated to Mike Roylance, Principal Tuba Boston Symphony Orchestra
