Maestro Gustavo Dudamel will lead the world premiere of Cortejo (L.A. Phil commission with generous support from the Esa-Pekka Salonen Commissions Fund) by Andreia Pinto Correia for the Los Angeles Philharmonic(May 2-5, 2024) at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The program will feature pianist Maria João Pires performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 and Don Quixote by Strauss featuring LA Phil Principal Cello Robert deMaine, and Principal Viola Teng Li.
