CONCERTO FOR GUITAR AND SYMPHONIC WOODWIND ENSEMBLE AT JORDAN HALL

Bonecas de Chuva, Concerto for Acoustic Guitar and Symphonic Woodwind Ensemble  will be performed at Jordan Hall by the New England Conservatory of Music Woodwind Ensemble under the direction of maestro William Drury with Ceili Connors on acoustic guitar. The work, written in 2007, is one of the earliest works in the composer’s catalogue. Originally a commission by the Orquestra de Jazz de Matosinhos, it was later adapted in 2018 to fit the new instrumentation.
