Andreia Pinto-Correia has been selected to receive an orchestral commission by the League of American Orchestras with support from the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation.

Composer Andreia Pinto-Correia is a 2015 John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellow.
"Timaeus", an extended work for orchestra in memory of Elliott Carter for TMC's 75th anniversary, will be premiered at the opening concert of the Contemporary Music Festival on July 20, 2015.
Andreia Pinto-Correia will be writing a new work for the extraordinary Horszowski Piano Trio. More details to be announced.
Andreia Pinto-Correia will be in residency at the Civitella Ranieri Foundation in Italy during the Spring 2015.
Commissioned by the Albany Symphony Orchestra with funding by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, "Impresiones y Paisajes" featured the extraordinary flamenco dancer and choreographer Omayra Omaya. The Albany Times Union praised the work's "gripping performance", "high quality", and "haunting music."
